Development contributions fees and charges

All fees and charges include GST unless otherwise stated

The council has a development contributions policy for the Whanganui district. A copy of our Development Contributions Policy can be found here.

Some new charges related to development contributions will apply from 2024/25 including objections, reassessment requests and requests for remissions. No up-front application fee will be payable for 2024/25. The activities will be charged on completion at actual and reasonable cost based on the hourly rates of those required to carry out the work. Fees and charges are in addition to any development contributions payable under the Development Contributions Policy.
