Hyltons Pit

Hyltons Pit, which can be accessed from Brunswick Road in Aramoho, was once a quarry where roading metal was extracted. Over time a dedicated group of mountain bikers has developed an extensive network of tracks for differing skill levels. There are more than 5 kilometres of mountain-bike riding, including a professionally built 900-metre track.

Hyltons Pit is also popular as an adventure site for children, who can climb small hills and explore amidst large shady trees.
