Have you used the libraries, visited a local park or accessed council facilities recently?
These are just some of the questions in our annual Community Views Survey – and if you take part you can enter a draw to win one of three $100 grocery vouchers.
Take part in this year's Community Views Survey
The independently-conducted online survey, open from Wednesday, 24 May 2023, asks all residents aged 16 and over for feedback on council services and facilities as well as their perceptions of wellbeing, and the quality of our services and facilities in Whanganui.
The survey also includes questions about culture and recreation, emergency planning and readiness, safety and wellbeing, the performance of the council and its response to community needs and issues. If you live in a rural area you will also be asked about the Whanganui Rural Community Board.
More than 600 people responded to the online survey last year and the council is keen to hear from as many locals as possible. If you live in the Whanganui district, whether you’ve had council contact or not, we would love to hear from you.
Independent research company, Versus Research, runs the survey on behalf of the council. It should take about 10 minutes to complete online.
All respondents are anonymous, and no individual responses will be supplied to the council. Everyone who completes the survey will have a chance to enter a draw to win one of the three $100 grocery vouchers.
The results of the survey are expected to be available in August this year.
