Contribute to the future of the arts

Two meetings, one on Thursday, April 30 and one on Friday, May 1 will be held for people have their say about the future of the arts in our community.

Wanganui District Council arts portfolio holder Cr Helen Craig and Arts Facilitator Debbie Kapohe will present the outcomes from a range of arts meetings held earlier this year. They will also talk about the next step in the review of the Arts Policy 2008.

Debbie Kapohe says she is looking forward to talking about the future of creativity in our community with a diverse range of people.

"I encourage anyone interested in the arts in our community to come along to these meetings, even if you haven't been to a previous meeting. It's a great chance to contribute and meet others.
