Creek Road from the 1km mark will be closed to all traffic this Friday, 12 July 2024, from 8.00am until 4.00pm for the removal of a temporary bridge by Whanganui District Council contractors. A permanent bridge has now been constructed at this location.
Road closure signs will be displayed at the intersection of Mangamahu Road and Creek Road.
Due to the complexity of the work, no vehicle access will be possible until the bridge removal work is completed. However, contractors may be able to move equipment at certain times if emergency access is required.
