Under Section 11A of Schedule 10 of the Local Government Act 1974, Whanganui District Council intends to close the following road for the annual Pakaitore celebrations:
From 7.00am on Friday, 28 February to 7.00am on Monday, 3 March 2025
• Taupo Quay from Market Place to Bates Street
During the intended closure, directional signs will be in place to show the alternative route.
Any person who wishes to comment on the intended closure must lodge their comments in writing by 5.00pm on Friday, 6 September 2024 to Melanie Francis, Customer Support Team Leader, at Council Customer Services, 101 Guyton Street, Whanganui or by email.
