To help protect the grounds and vegetation at Rotokawau Virginia Lake, a pest control programme will begin on Wednesday, 16 October 2024.
Rabbits are being targeted during breeding season to limit damage to plants and the problems caused by burrowing.
The bait (Pindone) will be placed in approved bait stations up to Sunday, 15 December 2024.
Signs will be in place at nearby lake entrances during this work.
