Council contractors regularly carry out pest control at parks and other public locations around Whanganui.
From Thursday, 29 August 2024 rat bait (Pestoff) will be placed in approved bait stations in the Springvale Park carpark area.
These bait stations are not accessible to dogs but keep your dogs on-leash as usual in this area.
Signs will be on display while the bait stations are out.
