Downer will be undertaking road maintenance on Victoria Avenue before the railway crossing and London Street intersection from 7.00am until 7.00pm on Sunday, 26 January 2025.
That section of Victoria Avenue will temporarily close to through traffic with detours in place so contractors can complete the work safely.
Temporary road closure details:
- Access will still be possible for all businesses between London Street and Glasgow Street
- Traffic coming down Great North Road will be detoured into London and Glasgow streets
- Traffic heading up Victoria Avenue towards Great North Road will be detoured into Glasgow Street, London Street, Grey Street and Parsons Street to rejoin Great North Road.
