The London Street and Smithfield Road intersection will temporarily close from 7.00am on Monday. 9 September until 5.00pm on Friday, 13 December 2024 so stormwater pipes can be installed by Loaders.
Road closure and detour signs will be in place during the closure.
Residential information
- Access to property numbers 56 to 80 and 79 to 97 Smithfield Road and all of Brooking Street will be from either Moore Avenue or Carlton Avenue.
- Access to property numbers 82 to 108 and 99 to 121 Smithfield Road will only be possible from either Burns Street or Toi Street.
- Access to property numbers 255 to 259 and 256 to 262 London Street will only be possible from Konini Street, Churchill Crescent or the Carlton Avenue – Fitzherbert Avenue roundabout.
