Long-Term Plan 2024-2034

Every three years, we review and update our ten-year plan to ensure we're on track to meet the evolving needs of our residents and the Whanganui district. Based on feedback and guidance from our community, the final Long-Term Plan was adopted on 16 July 2024.

This Long-Term Plan will guide us until our next review which must occur in 2027. Below, you will find that the final Long-Term Plan document in its entirety, but also split down into sections for your convenience.

Business Cases 

All Point of Entry (PoE) Business Cases were evaluated to determine which projects will proceed in this Long-Term Plan. The following links provide a list of projects that are included and excluded:
